The XP Music Conference organized by MDLBEAST took place from Dec 13-15, 2021 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Marcela spoke in two panels. The first panel discussed how to get into the music industry. Panelists included Nourah Alammary, Matthew Dicks, and Moonchild Sanelly. The second panel was a discussion on Changing the Gender Narrative in the Music Industry. Marcela moderated the conversation joined by Amal Khalaf, Andreea Magdalina and Jackie Queensand. Marcela also met up with professionals in music education including Clint Valladares, Jean-Baptiste Thiebaut, Gaurav Govil and Scott Druck. This meeting was led by Alex Andarakis where they discussed what is necessary for music education to grow and be accessible to everyone in Riyadh.
